Lemon and Lyme...Park

Just a quick note - There are no lemons in this post. It was just a title I thought was witty really late one night. However the place featured is Lyme Park so that bit is right!

Lyme park is a National Trust house and gardens with a deer park in Disley, Cheshire. This was the first time me and my girlfriend went to a National Trust place together. I took along my camera and off we went. When we realised that it was £5 to park and then £11 each to get in we initially wern't going to go in, but then we saw that it was only £27 each to sign up for a whole year so we both signed up and it has saved us a fortune!

The National trust places really are great places to go if you want to get some good snaps. Most of the houses don't allow photography inside but the gardens are usually very well kept so you can get some really lovely photos outside. The insides of the houses are really amazing too, it's incredible how well kept they are considering how old they are! We've seen things dating back a thousand years!!

Anyway, it was a great, if not a little bit chilly, day and we spent quite a few hours at Lyme Park in the house gardens and greenhouse, resulting in these snaps!

Have you ever been to Lyme Park?
